Giddy Yoyo foods are not the same as other organic or fair trade products. While our goods are organic or wild harvested, direct and fairly traded, there are additional attributes that make our products unique. We go to great lengths to source foods nourished by mineral-rich soil & fresh water, and grown in healthy remote environments. Our products are untouched by genetically modified organisms, the practice of hybridization, and chemical solvents and metals regularly used in the practice of bringing foods to market. In a world of health-conscious parents and confusing ingredient labels, Love Child Organics was created in 2013 on the promise of delivering truly healthy, clean and organic, baby and children’s food products.
Everything started when the founders, Leah and John Garrad-Cole, had their firstborn daughter, Poppy. As new parents, they were shocked (and frustrated) to discover most of the ‘organic’ baby food and children’s snack products contained unnecessary additives that were certainly not ‘real food’ and too often, also contained empty ‘filler’ ingredients that provided little nutritional value.
Leah, an experienced and enthusiastic home cook, began preparing her kids’ 100% clean, organic meals at home, and always added superfoods to ensure that each bite provided optimal nutrition for growth. She wanted her children to grow up with an appreciation for healthy ‘real’ food, right from the start, and for clean, nutrient packed food to be her family’s norm. Prior to becoming a mom, Leah worked for many years as a teacher of students with special educational needs, and she knew, without a doubt, the importance of a healthy diet for children’ optimal growth and development.
With Leah’s homemade recipes in hand, Love Child Organics was born, with the hope that all children could have access to truly honest, pure and delicious organic food that would include as many nutritionally-rich ingredients as possible. As a parent-founded, “values-first” company, Love Child Organics aspires to create only the highest quality organic baby and children’s food, and to run our business with a sense of social responsibility, making a difference on larger scale. The London Brewing Co-operative (LBC) is a micro-brewery located in London’s Old East Village at 521 Burbrook Pl., London, Ontario. The members of the London Brewing Cooperative are not just brewers. Part of our ownership group also are owners of On The Move Organics and The Root Cellar Café. Back2Roots launched in 2016. We are small company that exists in a quaint rural community, run by a family who cares about health and the environment.
We decided to introduce food and other products that go back to nature’s wholesome intent.
Simple natural great taste from mother nature, without having to use mass produced processed ingredients. We source non-gmo organic ingredients where possible in all of our recipes.
This year, 2016, we produced a lot of our own produce from a natural garden that used no pesticides and also incorporated a large amount of organic compost to ensure a healthy soil for produce and ingredients for our products.
We would like to share our products made in our certified commercial kitchen with you.

The Sweet Potato is located in a gorgeous 100-year-old building on Vine Avenue. We’ve added a bakery, a butcher, a fancy cheese island – and space for two carts to pass each other in the aisles.
The Sweet Potato has been a big part of the Junction since it was mostly dusty old knick-knack shops, and it’s an honour to be providing delicious, organic food to such a warm, vibrant, and growing community.
The Stone Store Natural Foods ltd is an independently owned and operated business. We are located in a beautiful old stone building in downtown Guelph. Candice Pergolas and Brenda Aherne are the proprietors and have been business partners since 1973. They met through a shared interest in organic and natural food. With the wonderful support of the Guelph community, the Stone Store has evolved into a busy, thriving enterprise with a staff of 18 people.
We are open 7 days a week and carry a wide selection of natural and organic foods. This includes produce, supplements, personal care products, package and bulk foods, books, dairy and bread. We also carry gluten free and vegan products. Our emphasis is on organic, fair trade and local. We donate a percentage of our profit each year to local art and music programmes, and various charities.
