Everdale’s mission is to be a farm-based organization that provides hands-on, solution-based food and farming education to build and engage healthy local communities. To accomplish this we deliver a wide range of hands-on learning programs on food and farming to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Growing organically since 1953, Filsinger’s was one of the first organic farms in all of Canada. Our founder, Alvin Filsinger was awarded the Lifetime Organic Hero Award by the Canadian Organic Growers for his lifelong dedication and work in the organic industry.
Located in Ayton, Ontario we continue to grow apples and pears without the use of chemical herbicides or pesticides. We also do all of our own processing on the farm. This ensures only the highest quality fruit is used in our products.

All of our organic products are Certified COR and USDA approved. This means our living produce is not genetically modified and is fully traceable. Herbicides, pesticides and fungicides are not used in our growing process. This is a stringent government certified & inspected process that we follow in order to receive certification.
Our Granolas are oven baked using natural and organic ingredients and are gently sweetened with pure Canadian maple syrup, Ontario wildflower honey or organic coconut nectar.
Sheila Hannon started GBGC in a small summer market in Parry Sound Ontario in July of 2012. GBGC is now in upwards of 100 stores accross Ontario. It has been a great couple of years!
