Back2Roots launched in 2016. We are small company that exists in a quaint rural community, run by a family who cares about health and the environment.
We decided to introduce food and other products that go back to nature’s wholesome intent.
Simple natural great taste from mother nature, without having to use mass produced processed ingredients. We source non-gmo organic ingredients where possible in all of our recipes.
This year, 2016, we produced a lot of our own produce from a natural garden that used no pesticides and also incorporated a large amount of organic compost to ensure a healthy soil for produce and ingredients for our products.
We would like to share our products made in our certified commercial kitchen with you.

Giddy Yoyo foods are not the same as other organic or fair trade products. While our goods are organic or wild harvested, direct and fairly traded, there are additional attributes that make our products unique. We go to great lengths to source foods nourished by mineral-rich soil & fresh water, and grown in healthy remote environments. Our products are untouched by genetically modified organisms, the practice of hybridization, and chemical solvents and metals regularly used in the practice of bringing foods to market. And of course, they’re delicious!

Inside The Horn of Plenty you will experience foods & DIY ingredients for eating well, living well, feeling good and having fun!! Located in beautiful downtown Dundas, Ontario, we are a destination for foodies, cooks, bakers and fun! We carry gourmet/organic bulk foods, gourmet & natural grocery shelves, fresh baked goods, supplements, aromatherapy department, vegan filled freezers, and organic produce.
We’re a small organic farm in the heart of the Niagara Region – located in rural Welland, bordering NiagaraFalls. Currently, we farm about 2 acres of land. The remainder of our property is home to deer, wild turkey and a range of other fauna and flora.
We grow a variety of certified organic vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, using outdoor hugelbeets (raised garden beds) and hoophouses. We believe in preserving biodiversity – which means we work in harmony with nature to produce beautiful, healthy food in a way that is safe for all species.
All of our seed is organic, non-genetically modified. And we never use chemical pesticides or fertilizers.To enrich our soil and plants, we use conservation methods like seed saving, cover crops and other sustainable farming practices. The London Brewing Co-operative (LBC) is a micro-brewery located in London’s Old East Village at 521 Burbrook Pl., London, Ontario. The brewery is organized as a worker’s co-operative and, as a co-operative, we are all about our community and our community partners. We want to change the conversation that surrounds beer and the place of a brewery in a community. We aim to establish a different relationship with beer. We are a brewery that places quality over quantity. We are producing a pint best served over conversation. Our aim is to bring Londoners together and to help with making London a destination for food and drink tourists. We live where we brew. The members of the London Brewing Cooperative are not just brewers. Part of our ownership group also are owners of On The Move Organics and The Root Cellar Café. These two businesses reflect the spirit of the London Brewing Co-operative. Founded on the goal of bringing to market locally-grown organic produce On The Move Organics and The Root Cellar Café are key actors in promoting local farmers, organic produce, and food democracy. We are interested in building a web of local businesses that work with the community and promote worker-centric organizations.
We aim to help create local industry around brewing. The fertile soil and growing conditions of Southwestern Ontario can support a robust hop growing venture and we are already in discussions with an Ontario malter to brew with local, organic barley. We are also creating processes that reduce the waste around brewing and will ensure that we are an environmentally conscious brewery. Our brewery has been built with reclaimed materials and is minimalist in all areas when possible. Our brewery will help to demonstrate what can be achieved with innovative ideas around building practices, building materials, and labour engagement.
In a world of health-conscious parents and confusing ingredient labels, Love Child Organics was created in 2013 on the promise of delivering truly healthy, clean and organic, baby and children’s food products.
Everything started when the founders, Leah and John Garrad-Cole, had their firstborn daughter, Poppy. As new parents, they were shocked (and frustrated) to discover most of the ‘organic’ baby food and children’s snack products contained unnecessary additives that were certainly not ‘real food’ and too often, also contained empty ‘filler’ ingredients that provided little nutritional value.
Leah, an experienced and enthusiastic home cook, began preparing her kids’ 100% clean, organic meals at home, and always added superfoods to ensure that each bite provided optimal nutrition for growth. She wanted her children to grow up with an appreciation for healthy ‘real’ food, right from the start, and for clean, nutrient packed food to be her family’s norm. Prior to becoming a mom, Leah worked for many years as a teacher of students with special educational needs, and she knew, without a doubt, the importance of a healthy diet for children’ optimal growth and development.
With Leah’s homemade recipes in hand, Love Child Organics was born, with the hope that all children could have access to truly honest, pure and delicious organic food that would include as many nutritionally-rich ingredients as possible. As a parent-founded, “values-first” company, Love Child Organics aspires to create only the highest quality organic baby and children’s food, and to run our business with a sense of social responsibility, making a difference on larger scale.
