Despite the current state of affairs, we are OPEN and continue bring healthy, delicious, nutrient-dense whole food, plant-based meals, drinks, smoothies, snacks, and desserts into your daily life. We are grateful for your support and continue to serve the Dundas and surrounding communities via take out or delivery for now. Once governmental restrictions are lifted later this year, we will switch back to being a full service eatery.
Our ingredients are primarily organic, always non-gmo, local when available, and all offerings on our menu are prepared using whole food, plant-based techniques with a fusion of raw and vegan cooking techniques. Preparation may include sprouting, fermenting and dehydration at a temperature of 105°F degrees or lower, to retain maximum nutrients and enzymes.

Have a lot of hungry mouths to feed? We can also “family-size” anything on our menu! Some of our preparation techniques can be time intensive and may require two weeks notice to ensure we have the ingredients for your items. We encourage you to drop off your Pyrex or Corningware trays or containers when you place your order. This allows us to prepare your food in your own cookware and cut down on unnecessary packaging? Bridgehead is a fairly traded coffee and tea company. In April 2000, Bridgehead (2000) Inc. was formed by three individuals with support from family and friends and on June 17, 2000, Bridgehead opened its flagship coffeehouse at 362 Richmond Rd. in Ottawa, Canada and renewed retail and wholesale sales of coffee and tea.
In June of 2012, Bridgehead opened its own Roastery and now roasts all of its coffee in-house. The Roastery imports green beans from co-ops all over the world and roasts about 6,000 lbs of fairly traded, organic coffee every week. The coffee is used in all of the Ottawa coffeehouses as well as sent to a variety of wholesale customers and online customers all across Canada.

Fresh produce arrives every morning in its whole form and is prepped in our kitchen. We make almost everything in-house from scratch, including our sauces, soups, hot meals + baked goods. Any item not made in-house comes from companies we love and trust.
We source local as much as possible because we care about the food we serve. If its not local, its comes from as close as possible to maintain fresh. Most of our items are 100% organic. We strive to create and bring in only the best food.

We’re all about plants and have been committed to sustainable organic farmers since opening our first restaurant, Live Organic Food Bar (Annex) in 2002. Our entire menu is organic, gluten and wheat free with no refined sugars. Each ingredient is of the highest quality, non-GMO and locally sourced when available.

We believe that the only way food should be processed is by the human body. Only whole food ingredients are used. We never use preservatives or animal products.
In 2010 we started our Live Factory, and introduced Live Organic Food Bar’s tried and tested products under the brand name Live Organic Food (formerly Live Organic Raw), now sold by top retailers across Canada.

Hangover Burgers which are a local grass fed beef patty, fresh lettuce, red onion, fresh tomato, local bacon, local cheese, and a fried egg on a freshly baked in house made bun, made with Northern Ontario flour.
Not So Eggs Benny, because we’re not so great at eggs Benny. Our version has freshly made hash brown patty on the bottom with a fresh tomato, local bacon, a fried egg and delectably gooey cheese sauce made with a selection of cheeses from all over Ontario and Quebec. Cupcakes, cake, produce, good coffee, and you honestly never know what else.

Located just steps off of Bank Street, this old Victorian building holds a charming space with seats for 22 including a cozy table in the bay window with pillows as seats. We also have a patio with chairs for 10 and a small retail section that offers some raw essentials. Liquor licence pending.
